Role Description

The Content & Media Volunteer will support Only Notts CIC by filming, photographing, editing and planning content for social media, the website and fundraising campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone interested in videography, photography, social media, marketing, storytelling or content creation. You may help document studio sessions, events, behind-the-scenes moments, fundraiser campaigns, interviews, testimonials and community stories.

The goal is to create content that feels real, respectful and meaningful — showing the impact of the work without exploiting young people's stories.

This Role May Involve

Filming and photographing events, studio sessions and fundraising activity

Editing short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and Facebook

Helping plan content ideas and campaigns

Creating website visuals and promotional material

Supporting testimonial and impact videos

Working with the team to make sure content is safe, appropriate and trauma-informed

Flexible Team Approach

Although each role has a specific focus, Only Notts CIC is a team effort. Once you are part of the organisation, you do not have to stay in only one area. Volunteers may support other parts of the CIC when needed, depending on their skills, interests and availability.

For example, someone joining as a Content & Media Volunteer may also help at fundraising events. Someone joining as an Events & Fundraising Volunteer may also help with outreach or admin. We want people to grow with the organisation and find the area where they can make the biggest impact.

What We Offer

Trauma-informed training

Experience supporting a new local CIC from the ground up

Opportunities to build real-world skills in music, youth work, fundraising, media, events, tech or operations

References for future paid roles where appropriate

A creative, mission-driven team environment

The chance to make a genuine difference for young people in care or at risk in Nottingham
